Friday morning Mia and I arrived in Beijing. Although Mia has been back a few times already since our move to Valencia, for me it is the first time since my departure from China in September 2008. What follows are some impressions.

engaged in Granada
It was then and there that I decided that it was the perfect place to ask her. I made my knee-fall, produced the ring and asked Mia the question “Will you marry me?” to which she responded with a big “YES”.

Right before I started writing this post I had a slice of bread with yummie Marmite and now I am drinking a cup of tea with a delicious stroopwafel.
Pam visiting Valencia for the weekend
Our good friend Pam just left us yesterday after visiting us in Valencia for the weekend. Pam arrived on Thursday afternoon and after freshing up we went to meet Mia on the terrace of Lisboa. It was great seeing each other again, last time I saw Pam was in September on a boat in the Amsterdam canals.

Back from a fabulous holiday to Koh Lanta, Thailand, so placed the photos online. Also decided to implement the NextGen Gallery that I use for most photo albums for websites I develop for 3rd parties on my own website, just because of user-friendliness.
