Since 2 days I’m the proud owner of an android phone: the HTC Magic and as you can imagine, this little post is written on it.
We have just upgraded our WordPress version to the latest 2.8. Don’t forget to make your backups, just in case! Major differences:
I built the theme so far on my localhost, but some things I cannot test there and since I was getting quite frustrated with the previous theme, I decided to do the switch now and tweak on while it’s online.
Therefore it can happen that things look ugly as hell; know that I am working on getting it all right and straightened out, but of course you can always leave a comment to give me a head’s up.
Not only is this good practice, it will also be beneficial to future clients, because in theory it is then possible to take any kind of mock-up and “translate” that into a WordPress Theme.
I am finally able to run WordPress locally without having to upload files all the time to see the results of recent tweaks.
A couple of months ago LinkedIn proudly announced the introduction of LinkedIn Applications and when I saw WordPress was listed I immediately decided to import the feed of Piet Bos dot ME into my LinkedIn profile.
