Above you see the rooftop terrace of our new home. In fact it is only half of it, the entire terrace measures about 13×4 meters.
We are totally in love with it – fell into love from the first day we saw it – and we expect to spend the biggest part of our life in Valencia on it; that is of course weather permitting. And that should not be a real problem, although Valencia has yet to live up to it’s promise that “it is the city where the sun always shines”, the temperatures are just great now.
Something that you of course realize after the fact is that a big rooftop terrace also brings along quite a few extra tasks. Mia has been so kind to appoint me to take care of the terrace and so I have just finished my weekly scrubbing and cleaning of our outside living quarters.
This afternoon I will test the BBQ-set we bought last week and if all goes well we’re ready and set for the long hot summer!
